Drawn by Hand, Rendered in Layers
The Palatine Library illustration is the anchor here. Thirty-six hours of drawing time, tracked by the app, condensed into a thirty-second timelapse. Every brick line, every window mullion, every strip of sidewalk. I didn't fully appreciate how much time I pour into a single piece until an app started counting it for me.
Also here: more of my illustrations, the hand-drawn coloring pages, and various commissioned portraits and mockups. Digital illustration is where my creative work and my professional work overlap most directly. A hand-drawn asset gives an organization something no stock library can — a piece of art that exists only for them, of a place only they occupy. That's the whole argument for making things by hand in a marketing context, and these are how I make it.
