About the Book
Your wedding, planned with a little help
Wedding planning comes with hundreds of decisions, a dozen vendors, and a lot of opinions. Prompt, Plan, Party turns AI into a calm, organized planning assistant, so you spend less time staring at spreadsheets and more time enjoying being engaged.
Every prompt is written for real life. Copy it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or whatever you already use, fill in the [brackets], and get a clear next step. No tech experience needed. If you can send a text, you can use this book.
AI organizes. You decide. Every choice in this book stays yours.
How It Works
Three cards side by side:
Read. A short, honest intro for each step: what it is, why it comes when it does, and a real note from my own planning.
Prompt. Copy, paste, and fill in the [brackets]. Bonus prompts and a "Make It Yours" tip help you go further.
Write. Answer a few questions by hand, fill in a simple tracker, and check off your little wins for the week.

Who It's For
Anyone planning a wedding
Brides, grooms, partners, couples of every kind, and the sister, best friend, or mom who's quietly running the spreadsheet. It's 2026, and wedding planning belongs to everyone.
Your wedding can be 20 people in a backyard or 230 in a ballroom. These prompts work for both. You don't need AI experience, a big budget, or a planner. You just need a little help staying organized.
The Story Behind It
Pair with a photo of your own planning: handwritten notes, the paper suite, or your Trello board.
I'm planning my own wedding for August 2027, and I've used AI as my thinking partner the whole way: from "where do I even start?" to emailing 12 venues, touring 5, and booking our favorite in 18 days. It helped me build a budget, merge two guest lists, design a handmade paper suite, and sort 90 vow notes into a first draft. Every word of my vows is still mine.
Then I spent a weekend with friends who had just gotten engaged. They had never used AI, and they felt completely overwhelmed. I wanted to hand them everything I'd learned in a form that felt simple, a little cute, and actually doable.
So I wrote it down. Prompt, Plan, Party is the book I wish I'd had on day one of being engaged.

Start here, right now
This is the very first prompt in the book. Copy it into any AI chat and fill in the [brackets].
Set it in a sage box with a "Copy prompt" button if your site builder allows one:
We just got engaged and want to start planning. Here's what we know so far: about [number] guests, near [city or area], [season or year], and we [do / don't] want [religious ceremony, outdoor, etc.]. Our vibe is roughly [a few words]. Please give us the first five steps in the right order, explain why each comes when it does, and ask us any questions that would make your advice more specific.
Make It Yours: After the AI answers, reply with "Ask us three more questions." The best advice comes on the second round.

My Books and My Work
Two books, one method
Both of my books follow the same idea: handwriting helps you figure out what you actually want, and AI helps you organize it. Every chapter pairs an AI prompt with a page you fill in by hand.
Two cards side by side, each with its cover:

Which AI tool should I use? Any of them. The prompts work in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or whatever you already have on your phone.
Is this only for brides? Not at all. It's for anyone planning a wedding: couples of every kind, plus the friends and family helping them.
We're already partway through planning. Is it still useful? Yes. Each chapter stands on its own, so jump to the one you need. Start with whichever step you're on right now.
Will AI plan our wedding for us? No, and that's the point. AI organizes, compares, and drafts. You two make every decision, and you double-check prices, dates, and contracts with your real vendors.
